About Your Officiant
I grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan. I am ordained through the Universal Life Church to perform weddings in all 50 US states, and some additional countries. Though I grew up Unitarian Universalist, I consider myself a child of the universe similar to that web of interdependence in which I was raised. As a genderqueer person with dynamic disabilities, my goal is to provide affordable services to people in historically marginalized communities, especially my LGBTQIA+ family, chronically ill and disabled folks. I believe everyone should have a chance to celebrate their love with or without the paperwork, and receive the benefits of a legal marriage if they want one. Even if they don’t want the fuss (or expense!) that goes with a traditional wedding, or wish to celebrate with friends and family at a later time.
